How does it work?

It's quite simple. The VOO Wi-Fi modems (only Netgear CG3100 , CG3700 and Technicolor) of our VOO Internet customers emit two dedicated and separate Wi-Fi signals.

ICONE WIFI PRIVE

One Wi-Fi signal is private

It's meant for your personal use
and allows you to surf the internet
in your home, quickly and and safely.

ICONE WIFI PUBLIC

One Wi-Fi signal is public

This is reserved for the Wi-Free service. It means you
and other VOO Internet customers get free internet access
outside your home. This additional Wi-Fi signal
does not affect the quality, speed or security
of your private internet connection in your home.

The free Wi-Free service lets you surf the internet outside your home without an additional subscription.
You get the best speed and a secure internet connection at all times.

Download volume

When you surf outside your home using a Wi-Free access point, the download volume you use is deducted from the total volume of your VOO Internet connection.

My Wi-Fi device is connected to the VOO_HOMESPOT or TELENETHOMESPOT network but I don't have internet access. Why?

There are 2 probable reasons for this:

1) Your device may be connected to the VOO_HOMESPOT network but you haven't identified yourself with your myVOO credentials on the Wi-Free access portal. If the Wi-Free access portal is not displayed automatically when you connect to the VOO_HOMESPOT network, just open a page in your internet browser and enter a URL like www.google.be. The Wi-Free access portal is displayed and you can log in with your myVOO credentials.

2) The Wi-Fi signal of the VOO_HOMESPOT network may not be strong enough for you to access the internet. Move a few metres and find a VOO_HOMESPOT network with a stronger signal.
